Misano Adriatico
A beach with fine sand, a “blue flag” sea and… your relaxation
Welcome to Misano Adriatico, in Romagna, an enjoyable and tranquil seaside town surrounded by the sea, rich in sport facilities, delicious food and… relaxation. The perfect destination for the entire family.
The beach with golden, fine sand that gently slopes into the waters of the Adriatic Sea is a typical characteristic that marks the Misano coast and it is the business card that the town uses to introduce itself to its guests.
Avant-garde services are offered along the 3 kilometers of coastline, dotted with multicolored umbrellas and sun lounges, to ensure a relaxing and safe bathing.
Misano Adriatico boasts the Blue Flag, a prestigious international prize awarded to its beach for the quality of the water, environmental management, services and safety and to its tourist marina for its excellent organization.
Portoverde is not only an excellent marina that can host over 350 pleasure boats, but it is also a characteristic location, within easy walking distance from the Lungomare Relax; it offers Mediterranean charm, an elegant, warm and reserved ambience, far from the noise typical of other localities on the Riviera Romagnola. In Portoverde you will find stores, fashionable bars and eateries, sports centers, refined restaurants and luxury boats, making even a simple walk under the porticoes, along the bay shores an enjoyable and thrilling experience.
Right in front of the Lungomare Relax Residence **** & Hotel there is a cycle track along the coastline, which leads northwards to Riccione and southwards to Cattolica. It is an excellent starting point to explore our coast.
Moreover, Misano extends inland into the Valle del Conca, surrounded by rolling hills. For walkers, there is a beautiful foot and cycle path along the Conca river and its dike, perfect for Nordic Walking or Mountain Biking; it leads to the “Oasi faunistica e Osservatorio Ornitologico” (Fauna Reserve and Bird observatory) which extends over 702 hectares and hosts, among other species, storks, spoonbills and pelicans.
In and around Misano there is a variety of sport facilities for tennis, golf, horse riding, five-a-side football, basketball, volleyball, beach tennis, beach volley, miniature golf, in addition to all of the sport activities that you can play at sea and on equipped beaches, which include special areas for children.
Thanks to the Misano World Circuit dedicated to Marco Simoncelli, the town has also become a landmark for motor enthusiasts, especially during important events.
